Hello! I am Ms. Claessens, the Registrar. I was born in Southern California and shortly thereafter moved to Hawaii. My family continued moving while I was growing up; I attended 14 different schools in five different states before graduating in 1973. This allowed me to learn about many people and cultures. I attended Pierce College after graduating from high school in California. Marriage and children became my life in the mid 70’s. I returned to college in 2000 attending Missouri Western State University and Clark County Community College, which became College of Southern Nevada; working on a History/Geography major and an English Literature minor.  I started working for the CCSD in 1986; I spent over 5 years subbing K-12. This is my 5th year working at Burkholder…probably the best gig ever…besides being a “grandmomma.” If you have any questions or concerns about Registration or Transcripts, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'm Chelsea Joy (Allman), and I'm the new FASA. I was raised in South Carolina but there is no place like Nevada. I've heard so many wonderful things about this school, so I'm very excited to be a part of the team. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games and board games. I also love spending time outside, doesn't matter if I'm walking on a path or kayaking up a river. The most important things in my life are my animals, I have 4 tarantulas, 1 cat, 1 gerbil, and 2 dogs.

Greetings Jaguars! I am Kim Deputy. I am an assistant to the Dean's Office, Attendance Office and Health Office. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and raised in the Sacramento, CA. area. I went to High School and College in Tucson, AZ. I moved with my family to Las Vegas just before turning 21. I worked for the DMV for almost 10 years, and was a school crossing guard for 3 years with The City of Henderson Police Department. I started with CCSD in 2015. This is my 6th school year with my Burkholder family. I have a beautiful, smart and talented 10 year old daughter who wants to be a Doctor or a "Movie Star".

Born in Santa Cruz CA, raised by wolves, traveled the world, I currently have only one wife and one daughter. I’m proud to serve and protect the students of Burkholder MS.

I am originally from Alaska, but I love living in Nevada. I take care of all of the technology on campus and keep the Chromebooks in tip-top shape. I have a wonderful wife and baby with another baby on the way. I am happy to be part of the Burkholder family.

Hello Jaguars! I am Nicole Stefanski, Battle Born and raised here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I attended Vo-Tech which is now called Southeast Career Technical Academy and CSN. I have been in the school district for five years in the special education department. I am excited to be working on building a better future with our young adults.

Hello Jaguars!! I am Ryanne Mark, I work in the FLS classroom with Ms. Mac. This is my 3rd year here at Burkholder and I love working here. In my spare time, I love to do anything outside whether it is playing sports (basketball or volleyball) or hiking/exploring.

Hello! My name is Miss Zoe and I couldn't be happier to be a part of the Burkholder Family. I work in the Autism Program as an SPTA and we have a blast in our class. I was born and raised in Nevada and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Outside of school I enjoy drawing, painting, and pretty much anything art related! I hope to see you around campus. Hi I'm Ms. Armstrong. I work in Special Education and I love working here at Burkholder M.S! I was born and raised in Las Vegas where in 2015 I graduated from East Career Technical Academy. This 2020 I graduated with an Associate's degree in Secondary Education from College of Southern Nevada. I am currently working on my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a focus on History. I work here with my best friend, Ms. Lesley, of 11 years. I am looking forward to this upcoming year no matter the challenges ahead.

I was born in Jamestown, New York. I have lived in Colorado Springs and also here in Nevada. I love my family so much! My husband, my 15 ½ year old son, and our kitty cat. I hold an Associate’s in Elementary Education, a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies, and a Master’s of Education Specializing in Higher Education. I enjoy working with children.The children are our future. As we are theirs. I am so pleased to be part of a great team!
